Located in the Dordogne vally, the Résidence Souillac Golf & Country Club gives you access to; an 18-hole Par 67 golf course, practice 10 covered positions, a putting green, rental of golf carts, trolleys and clubs, and lessons and courses for all levels. They even have last minute offers. They also have a restaurant/bar, swimming pools, tennis courts, table tennis, pentanque, football and playgrounds for children. The club is located between Souillac and Brive airport, just 22 km from our castle.
Golf Club De Montal‘s 9-hole course begins right next to the château of that same name. The club was established in 1987 by enthusiasts and local volunteers, who wanted to create this wonderful golf course around the castle. Today you can enjoy it’s many competitions throughout the year. You can also enter their golf school for private lessons. Located only 31 km from our castle, you can find lot’s of enjoyment at this golf club.
Golf de la Forge is located just 72 km from our castle. It is a beautiful and complete 9-hole course including a driving range, a putting green, training area, equipment rentals, bar and restaurant. The course includes raised tees, woods, wildflowers, bunkers, streams and a body of water that adorn this 1411 meter long par 30. They also have different rates and packages that you can tailor to your needs.
Golf Municipal de Brive Planchetorte is an 18-hole Par 72 golf course, that is open all year. It is set in a very beautiful natural green valley, close to the city-centre, where the surrounding forests and the peaceful flow of the “Planchetorte”, gives you a peace of mind during your round of golf. More than half the holes follow or cross the “Planchetorte” brook. The water contributes to the difficulty and relevance of the course. It is located only 38 km from our castle.
Coiroux Park & Golf is the only 27-hole golf course in the Limosin. It is made up of a 9-hole & a 18-hole course on nearly 65 hectares. The park includes a lake, shaded picnic areas, a playground for children, a multi-sport playground with football, basketball and beach volley, a rugby pitch, two tennis courts and a snack bar. There are 6 disabled parking spaces. The beach is cleaned every morning by Park staff. Swimming is supervised from early July to mid-August. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Located only 48 km from our castle.
Golf Puy d’Arnac is a 9-hole golf course located only 23 km from our castle. Groups and associations of players can organize competition days. Official ranking competitions are also organized by the federation. They have a nice green package deal with a Green fee + Lunch. They also offer intership and teaching.
