Our room named for Catherine the Great, Russia’s longest reigning Empress, accommodates three comfortably with its single and double bed. Dual sinks and a large tiled shower adorn the ensuite bathroom. Its north-facing window pools the room with light. An apt setting for Catherine, the champion of enlightenment who impressed Voltaire so, he named her, “the Star of the North.”
