It’s our first Christmas at Château de La Tuilerie, AKA Queen’s Escape. We didn’t go crazy. But we did a few things like candles in the windows, a dining room center piece made from branches on the property, a mantle piece, and some garland. We had our neighbors over for a French apero, which is drinks and light food, but it turned out to be a longer, friendlier affair. If we’re thankful for anything this year, it’s the warmth of the people living here in the village of Gluges. It would not feel like home without them. 🙂 Merry Christmas!
